I wanted to classify the different consumer market solar cells, so I decided to create this list so I could get an idea of what is available and their properties. It is in no way complete.

Monocrystalline silicon wafer cells in series on plastic substrate. I framed and encapsulated this one as well.

Encapsulated monocrystalline silicon wafer cells in series on plastic substrate, unsure though, might be fiber board.

Copper Indium Diselenide based cells

A monolithic structure, series connected, thin film deposited on glass substrate. I framed it and encapsulated it in epoxy.
